Mercury dips in Rajasthan; Churu the coldest

Filed under:

Strong northwesterly winds led to a dip in temperatures in Rajasthan, where Churu continued to be the coldest place with a minimum of 4.4 degree celsius.

Mercury dipped to almost two degree celsius in most parts of the State.

MET officials attributed the sudden decrease in temperatures to the absence of cloudy conditions and active northwesterly winds.

Ajmer recorded a minimum temperature of 11.2 degree celsius, Jaipur 6.5, Pilani 6.3, Barmer 10.2, Jaisalmer 10.5, Jodhpur 11.6 and Bikaner 10.7 Degree celsius.
