Wipro has signed an MoU for 100 acres of land to set up its campus in Mahindra World City, Jaipur. This facility will come up in two phases: Phase one will occupy 25 acres of land, which will have over one lakh sq ft built-up area and capacity to seat over 1000 employees.
According to Arun Nanda, executive director and president, infrastructure development sector, Mahindra & Mahindra, With proven capabilities of offering world-class, state-of-the-art facilities for business retail, leisure, hospitality and residential housing, Mahindra World City, Jaipur will prove to be the ideal venue for Wipros regional aspirations.
Commenting on the new facility, Dr A Lakshman Rao, chief operating officer, Wipro Technologies, said, Wipros presence in Mahindra World City, Jaipur, will extend and further strengthen its presence in Northern India.
Rajasthan is emerging as a hub for talent and Jaipur as a favourite destination for the IT-ITeS industry. Mahindra World City, Jaipurs strategic location with quick and easy access to the National Capital Region (NCR), is attracting companies seeking to expand their operations.

Reliance Retail Ltd today unveiled its first set of pilot stores in the Pink City - Jaipur. Reliance Fresh, the first of the formats from Reliance Retail will be opened up for consumers from the morning of 15th of December. The five pilot Reliance Fresh stores will be rolled out at Khatipura, Vijaypath — Mansarover, Shastri Nagar, Ram Gunj Chopar and Jawahar Nagar and have an area of about 2000 to 3500 sq. ft. The stores will have an average of about 20 trained sales associates attending to the customers in each store. The Reliance Fresh stores will carry fresh fruits
